• Breast Cancer awareness with Never Alone

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, organised by the charity Breast Cancer Care to help raise awareness of the second most common cause of death from cancer in women in the UK.

Breast cancer affects 1 in 8 women in the UK during their lifetime and around 400 men a year. However, here at Never Alone we understand that it’s not only those that develop breast cancer that suffer from the disease – the impact that it can have on friends and family can be devastating.

The below image shows some tell-tale signs of the illness so please share this with your friends and family to raise awareness.

This month, no matter how big or small the gesture, we’re encouraging our members to support the awareness month and those affected by this illness. Whether it be wearing something pink, shopping for a sponsored product or even organising a fundraiser of your own, every little helps!

We’d also like to remind our members that if your loved one is suffering from breast cancer, you are not alone. Whether you’d like to have a chat about the problems that you are facing or even the current storyline in Eastenders, we’re here to talk to you.
